Welcome to Day 5 of the Manifesting 101 Course!

Today’s lesson is about the importance of dwelling in the feeling of whatever it is you want to create.

This is KEY to manifesting! Remember, the Universe responds to your energy. To attract what you want, you must make it your priority to feel good so you can magnetize more good things to you.

Most of us do this backwards. We think that in order to feel good, we first need that relationship, that new job, that remodeled living room, or whatever it is we want.

This is “I’ll be happy when” syndrome. You may have noticed it doesn’t work. Even if you feel excited, satisfied, confident, happy or whatever else for a while, the feeling will fade. Then you’ll just find something else you “need” in order to feel good.

We think our happiness depends on something outside ourselves, but we have it all twisted! The truth is that once you feel good, you start to easily attract what you desire. When we make feeling good our priority, everything else can flow.

Remember, manifesting is all about how you feel. You can’t attract greatness with low vibes, so today we’re going to honor how we want to feel and direct our energy so we can attract what we desire.


Today’s exercise is to take a small right action toward how you want to feel. Here’s how to do it:

  • Return to your writing exercise from Day 3 and read over what you’re a YES for.
  • Answer this question: What can you do to cultivate that feeling? For instance, if you want more love in your life, how can you love yourself more? If you want to feel supported, how can you support yourself more? Write down one thing you can do to cultivate the feeling you want to attract into your life.
  • Take one small action. Do what it takes to feel that feeling today. You don’t have to wait for your desire to come into form to feel its great benefits. If you want to feel more abundant, put $10 into a savings account today. If you want to feel more loved, do something to love yourself today, such as taking a long bath. If you want to feel healthier, move your body in some way today. Commit now to doing one small thing to cultivate the feeling you want to manifest.

As you stay committed to your positive feelings, you’ll raise your energetic vibration and begin to experience the energy of the Universe supporting you. Your feelings send a message to the Universe that you’re ready to receive more of the energy you’re putting out. And tomorrow you’re going to magnify your attracting power even more with one of my favorite guided meditations for manifesting.
