Welcome to Mindful March Day 21

Today the focus is on taking care of ourselves again. We all rush around in our day-to-day lives, chasing to get the kids to school on time, or rushing to get onto public transport or even cutting our lunch hours short to get back to work. It just is the way things are today for so many of us.

Whilst this is going on today, just try to keep some awareness around your body as you go through your day. If you feel any aches or pains or tiredness just take a break.  That could be a mental break for instance as well as sitting down to take the weight off temporarily. Remember we are essentially animals and we do need to honor ourselves when we need rest. Although of course, I appreciate this isn’t always easy to do.

But at least if you are conscious of it, when you need to and you can … you should.

Enjoy your little breaks today, you’ve earned them!
